Lindsay Jorgensen

Dancer

LINDSAY JORGENSEN is from Lawrenceville, New Jersey where she trained at Princeton Ballet School. Upon graduating high school, she danced with American Repertory Ballet as a trainee where she performed soloist roles alongside the company. She then was accepted into the Ailey/Fordham B.F.A. Dance Program, where she graduated summa cum laude in Dance and English. She also holds a departmental honors in Dance from the university. Since college, Lindsay has toured various productions with Ballet Nepantla, and has performed with Buglisi Dance Theatre and Axelrod Contemporary Ballet Theatre since 2019. She has performed at Lincoln Center, the David H. Koch Theatre, Asbury Park Dance Festival, and works by Alvin Ailey, Paul Taylor, Robert Battle, and Riccardo De Nigris. Recent theatre credits include Swing and Assistant Director/Choreographer in The Prom (Axelrod PAC) and Cha Cha in Grease (Axelrod PAC). Lindsay teaches for Steps Youth Program, Brooklyn Ballet School, and the American Repertory Ballet Trainee Program. She also holds a certificate in Creative Writing from the University of Pennsylvania.
