BLAKELEY WHITE MCGUIRE, MFAIA, is a critically acclaimed, award winning performer, most notably as Principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company (2002 - 2016, 2017), and performs as Guest Artist with Buglisi Dance Theatre since 2005. She is a creative artist, lecturer and educator who embodies the spirit and lineage of contemporary modern dance. Her work is presented internationally and has been produced by The Museum of Arts and Design, Jacob’s Pillow’s INSIDE/ OUT and the Women in Dance Leadership conference. She has served as a teacher of Graham technique and improvisation at LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts and is currently on faculty at Purchase College and the American Dance Festival.
